From Leek. Head north on A523. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Macclesfield

In 2 1/2 miles, turn right at Right Filter (signposted Heaton / Swythamley) onto Leek Old Road.  In 1/2 mile, turn right.  Follow road for 2 miles (ignore side turnings).  Just after phone box, bear left and site immediately on Right.

 Directions: FromM1 junction 29 take A6175 to Clay Cross, turn right onto A61. In 1.1 miles at Old Tipton roundabout turn left onto unclassified road signposted Littlemore and Ashover. In approximately 3 miles after passing through Littlemoor at T junction turn right onto B6036. In 0.3 miles ** look for signs of Old Nettle pub (now a house) turn right onto unclassified road. Site on left in 0.75 miles, just before Ashover village. N.B. It is not recommended to use the A632 Matlock to Chesterfield Road.

From Derby take A38 North to Alfreton, turn left onto A61 Chesterfield Road for 4 miles. At Stratton turn west onto B6036 towards Ashover. In 2,4 miles continue from ** above. If towing a caravan this latter route should not be taken as the B6036/A61 junction is very steep and at an awkward angle.

This site is located in a lovely Derbyshire village close to the Peak District National Park. The village has 3 pubs which are both walker and dog friendly, plus a bakery and ice cream shop. Very good walking area, also bus route to Chesterfield and Matlock.
